Wounded Self to Wondered Self

It is the ego that is our tool of individuation.
How do we become conscious of our unique materialization from egg and sperm?
What assists us in recognizing that we are a third separate form from our biological creators?

Every move we make into our Self and out of the symbiotic relationship with our parents, requires safety, encouragement and a stable launching pad. If any sort of dysfunction or abuse in this developmental process is experienced, the ego is right there to offer protection. The ego responds to the level of balance with boundaries in its environment.
It can push against limitations and learn of it's natural parameters only if there is a neutral and loving container. However, if there is significant abandonment and/or enmeshment in our field of growth, the ego gets stronger and stronger as a survival mechanism. It begins a journey of separation that armors against harm instead of knowing it's personal power to coexist with others and with Life.

We are facing our wounded egoic selves like never before in humanity. Was the dysfunction and abuse in our history a mistake or is it pushing us to recognize the extremes of separation that we are living out.
We have learned and been so conditioned to reject our ego and judge it as dark and evil. We have run the opposite way. Instead of peace, this protest and escape has created even more isolation and confusion.
Our internal rejection is creating external reflection.
The Good and Light is fighting the Bad and Dark in a perpetual and unwinnable war.

If we scope back from our focused sight on a particular moment and setting, we begin to notice a Force that has been tipping the scales to give us a leg up and out of futility.
Some sort of muscle memory is activating.
It is presenting a "what if?"
What if we accept the presence of a self-serving destructive energy as a call and response that incites us to stand up and look at it straight in it's dark eyes. We no longer deny it's existence and it's traumatizing frequencies. Holding a strong and clear boundary, we offer our hand in an exalted partnership; one that requires humility and surrender into a greater Truth.
This is the alchemical wonderment of the times that is creating new land masses and territory.

Our higher self & God will protect you when you can put ego aside. It is in these vulnerable moments when we are most seen & viewed as being authentic & heart centered. In my experience, the protective Ego centric energy is damaging as it’s viewed as arrogance. Teeter on the other side, and relationships improve over in vulnerable land.

Contrary to how we've been conditioned, it is the belief that we must separate from darkness that creates a fragmentation of Soul. Limitations and Dualities actually have a purpose of solidifying our whole true essence. This is the deeper experience of the yin and yang symbol.
In my work with some youth and seriously damaged or damaging adults, it is in the being seen and then being presented boundaries that ultimately creates safety and trust. I had the most success with other's and my own shadowed self, when I was consistent and relentless over long periods of showing up in confidence that I honor both our experiences and will not allow either to dominate. This gets practiced as we learn how to re-parent our inner child. The R*E*A*L*I*T*Y approach articulated on my Services Page describes how we can do this.
However, the invitation to develop a respectful partnership and transform the fearful/manipulative wounded Ego relationship, is not always accepted.
Depending on the level of trauma, the egoic energy can be like a cornered wild animal or vampiric energy that cowers and bites if there's any attempt to tame it or bring it out of the Dark Forest. Sometimes the cruelest behavior happens when there is an expression of love or compassion towards it. The wounded ego sees these expressions as threats to its very existence. It also cannot access it's own source of nourishment so it feeds off others behind veils of acceptable image and word. When pressure increases to operate differently or when the unconscious food supply diminishes, they make a choice to flee elsewhere or surrender into the humility of being Loved.

Such an insightful account of where we are individually and also as a whole world. We have to face the trauma to transmute it all together.

Very thoughtful. I think reflecting on the ego, those hidden parts of us, and moments where we feel safe enough to journey within, our wounding can help mold us into the people we know that we are deep inside.
